How to donate on Kick: KICKs, subs or a donation link

Quick answer: there are three ways to donate on Kick. Send KICKs, Kick's own virtual goods, from the chat; buy or gift a subscription; or open the donation link the streamer shares in their About section or chat and pay on that page. Only the link is a direct payment to the creator outside Kick; Kick sets the prices, creator share and refund rules for KICKs and subs.

Send KICKs or subscribe on Kick

KICKs are virtual goods you buy on Kick, through the KICKs icon or the Get KICKs button in a channel. To send them, select the KICKs icon under the chat box, choose an amount and type your message: Kick pins it in the chat. Kick sets the prices and what the creator receives, and KICKs are non-refundable. Subscriptions and gifted subs are monthly support, also handled by Kick. Donate through the streamer's link

Open the donation link shared by the streamer in their channel or chat. Check that the page belongs to the intended creator, choose your amount and complete the checkout using an available payment method. On a DonoLink page, no DonoLink account is required. If no donation link is listed, ask the streamer which support options they use.

1. Use the support link posted by the creator, not an unverified link from another viewer.
2. Choose your amount and an optional message, then check the total.
3. Select a payment method offered on that page and follow its confirmation steps.
4. Wait for the payment confirmation. A missing on-stream alert is not proof that payment failed.

In the Kick app, open the channel's About section and tap the link. If the in-app browser cannot finish the payment, open the same link in your normal browser.

Native Kick support features and an external DonoLink payment are separate purchases. An external donation does not buy KICKs, a subscription or subscriber benefits.

Why use your own donation link on Kick?

You control the page, suggested amounts, payment methods and alerts. Receiving KICKs requires Streamer status on Kick; your own donation link works from your first stream. It also gives multistreamers one consistent link across Kick, Twitch, YouTube and their social profiles.

Step 1: create your donation page

Choose a matching username, add your channel branding and connect the payout account. DonoLink is available to creators in every EU country except Germany: the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain have their own site, the other 22 countries use donolink.eu. Complete Stripe verification and test the page on a phone before publishing it.

Step 2: add the link to your Kick channel

Put it at the top of your channel's About section or in an available profile link field. If you use a chat bot, configure a command such as !donate with your public link and test its reply; typing the command alone does not configure it. Use a descriptive label so viewers know they are opening an external payment page.

Step 3: add alerts and overlays in OBS

Install the DonoLink browser sources and send a test alert to check image and sound. This does not make a payment or verify checkout. Because OBS handles the overlay, the same scene setup works regardless of the streaming platform receiving your broadcast.

Step 4: connect Kick for live events

Connect your Kick account in the overlay studio to turn new followers, subscriptions and gifted subscriptions into stream alerts. KICKs do not trigger DonoLink alerts. These events are not direct cash donations and do not count toward donation revenue or goals.

How much do you keep?

Your Kick revenue from subs and KICKs is separate from your DonoLink donations. DonoLink charges 3.5% per donation. Stripe charges processing fees separately: at standard rates, €0.29 for iDEAL and €0.35 for Bancontact. Cards and wallets can have different rates. For a €10 iDEAL donation you keep €9.36.
