Streamlabs is primarily streaming software; its donations use an external payment route, with processing fees and possible currency conversion. DonoLink is built for Dutch streamers: viewers donate via iDEAL, you pay 3.5% per donation and the money lands in euros in your own bank account. You do not have to replace your streaming software.
Short answer: DonoLink replaces the donation and tipping side of Streamlabs: your tip page, donation alerts and donation widgets as browser sources. Recording, broadcasting and multistreaming stay in Streamlabs Desktop, OBS or your own streaming software.

Streamlabs itself does not charge a fee on tips, but its external payment route can charge processing and currency conversion fees. DonoLink publishes its own fee; Stripe separately charges processing fees to the connected creator account. With DonoLink, the donor pays the chosen amount unless they voluntarily cover the DonoLink fee and Stripe processing costs.
Reliable donation widgets, independent of Streamlabs.
DonoLink provides its own donation goal and recent-donations widget as direct Browser Sources for OBS and Streamlabs Desktop. The dashboard status shows whether each source has actually loaded.
On April 12, 2026, Streamlabs retired only a selection of widgets, including Twitch Charity Donation Goal and several platform-specific widgets. The regular Tip Goal and Event List remained supported. DonoLink therefore replaces your donation flow and donation widgets, not your streaming software. Read the official Streamlabs update.

How do I switch from Streamlabs to DonoLink?
Create a free account, import your donation history via Streamlabs' CSV export and replace your old tip link with donolink.nl/u/yourname. After that you set up your alerts and overlays and connect your bank account via Stripe.
Can I keep using OBS or Streamlabs Desktop?
Yes. DonoLink only replaces the donation side, not your streaming software. DonoLink's alerts, donation goal and other overlays are regular browser sources and work in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop and any other streaming app that supports browser sources.
Why does iDEAL matter for Dutch streamers?
iDEAL is a common way to pay online in the Netherlands. With iDEAL, viewers simply choose their own bank and confirm in the app without needing another payment account. At DonoLink, iDEAL is the default payment method.
